9 Things I Wish I Could Say To My Friends Who Dont Have Kids Mom guilt is real, as motzu sichs feel guilty for working while their children are home or staying home with their children while they feel they should be working. Some mothers just feel guilty for how they choose to parent, debating whether or bedrngnislage theyre doing a good enough job, especially when others are quick to offer their unsolicited two cents.In fact, often, mothers feel guilt from the shame that other childless people place on them. Thats why we reached out to mothers to share what they wish they could say to their friends who have chosen not to have children.1. Dont say you understand.The number one thing that I would want to say to childless friends is,please stop telling me you understand, says Rebecca Green.You absolutely cannot understand the time constraints, the stress, even the joy or what it is like to raise a child, discipline a child, grieve with or over a child if you have never had a child. I a m not a doctor so I could never say to my doctor, I understand that procedure, diagnosis, treatment, etc.2. I still love you and want to be in your life, but it has to look a little different temporarily while I take on this new role as mom. I promise I still think about you often. If you want to spend time with me, it may need to be at a park/library playgroup/running errands, but you are ALWAYS welcome.
